This product was designed for use as a biopsy tray, and features dimensions of 2.120” in length, 1.415” in width, and 0.033” in height. The drawn basin was created per customer specifications, which called for multiple contours, angles, and recesses, all of which required for forming the multiple geometric features of the trays. The trays are composed of 5052 aluminum, and are progressive die stamped to tolerances of ± 0.001”. The durability of the die and consistency of our processes are verified by comprehensive visual and dimensional inspections throughout manufacturing. This is further demonstrated by the 50,000 parts per year that we supply to this medical industry customer, with lead times of just 4 weeks.
