Summary: Seeking self-starting, motivated individuals to operate various types of production machinery and other operations to support our production department. The candidate will run production as instructed, follow safety procedures and safety rules, perform quality checks such as visual checks as well as measure and document controlling dimensions, maintain an organized, clean, safe work area with the expectation of a good attendance record.

Summary: Seeking self-starting, motivated individuals to work within our tool room. This position is responsible for making, repairing and maintaining tools, dies, fixtures and related metal fabrications for operations in the press room, machine shop and short run departments. Set up, operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders and all other assigned equipment. Assist junior toolmakers and apprentices as requested. Flexible to work at our Schiller Park, Illinois facility as needed. Follow all safety procedures and rules, company policies and rules, maintain an organized, clean, safe work area with the expectation of a good attendance record.

Quality Assurance: Floor Inspector

1st shift (6:30am – 3:00pm)

Summary: The In-Process Floor Inspector must be self starting, motivated individual, to work with our Quality Department. The candidate will be responsible for insuring of In-Process and final inspection on a variety of manufactured production parts, using visual gages, mechanical, machine and computer equipment. Will be asked to provide feedback to production personnel regarding the quality of parts produced.

Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance assistant must be self-starting, motivated individual to work within our maintenance department. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with facility maintenance, preventive maintenance repairs, improvements and metal fabrication. This position with time and experience has the opportunity of the candidate transitioning into the Maintenance Manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Participates in the safety, quality and housekeeping programs as established within the plant; • Maintain performance standards, quality standards, good attendance record and attitude. • Performs cleanup duties at workstations, etc. • Communicate all problems and other work related issues with supervisor. • Demonstrates flexibility to changing priorities as business needs dictate. • Acts decisively and shows a strong sense of urgency to ensure follow through of established goals. • Identifies and participates proactively in activities to increase personal skill level, overall departmental process and product quality. • Comply with all company policies and procedures including mission, safety and attendance requirements. • Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of this position, as directed by the supervisor. JOB REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or equivalent required • Basic computer proficiency required • Operation of machine tools such as drill presses, mills, grinders, lathes and various powered hand tools • Ability to pass company ISO, English, Safety and Math tests. • Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US • Must be drug and alcohol-free KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES • Must read, write and speak English. • Must understand verbal and written instructions • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills • Must work well in a team environment • Must be self-motivated to work independently and in a group, and meet targets • Must perform basic mathematical calculations • Must have strong attention to detail • Must have basic knowledge of punch presses, construction, electrical and mechanical systems • Must read and understand schematics and blue prints • Must be able to think and work under pressure and analyze information to identify solutions • Must have and execute with sense of urgency • Mig/Tig welding a plus Send Resume to: employment@manortool.com
